Looks like we dodged the first bullet mother nature had aimed at us this year. Hurricane Irene just gave us a little brush before she moved north to harass the Atlantic coast. This summer has without a doubt been one of the hottest that I can remember. We have had several days in a row that the temperatures have been in the upper 90's.
