Angling Adventures is located on Florida’s West Central coast, one of the most popular areas in the world to go fishing and take a family vacation. We provide fishing charters from Charlotte Harbor, and Boca Grande all the way north to Crystal River including the waters of Sarasota, Tampa bay, St Petersburg, Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, New Port Richey, and Hudson. Capt. Greg DeVault is a full time guide, and with four boats available for fishing charters, we can cover any type of fishing you want to do. From throwing live bait to schools of marauding redfish, to pitching artificial at the miles of mangrove lined shorelines, to presenting a fly in the path of a tarpon or next to a tailing redfish, you are sure to find just what you’re after on a fishing charter with Angling Adventures.

As a full service fishing charter service we can set up your entire fishing vacation, from the actual fishing charter to lodging and any rental cars you may need. No group is too big or small for a fishing charter with Angling Adventures. With the use of multiple boats, we can accommodate the largest groups or just one person. As you surf  through our pages you will see many smiling faces from clients that range from novice to expert.

Whats Up Next

Post image for Whats Up Next

The spring bite is just around the corner and we can expect to see the Snook, Redfish, and Speckled Sea Trout all begin to emerge from there winter homes and start looking to the flats for food and shelter. Along with them we will see alot of the migrating spiecies start to show back up in our waters, Cobia, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, and even a few Tarpon will be around to pull some drag.

March and April is always the time of year when the live pilchards start to show up and become the number one food source for everything that swims in our water. This is the time when our Speckled Sea Trout fishing is off the hook, 50 to 75 fish a day is common during these two months and fish up to 6 pounds are not uncommon. The redfish will also start to show up in larger groups and begin to feed on what ever moves in front of them, and the Snook will be looking to fatten up after a long winter with out much food.

Springtime charters are without a doubt some of the best fishing we have to offer, there are multiple species to target and they are generally always hungry. The other great part about a spring time charter is the weather, cool crisp mornings that give way to gorgeous sunny afternoons with temperatures that range from the 60’s in the morning to the low 80’s by afternoon.

With spring time just around the corner now is the time for planning vacations, with great fishing and great weather it is hard to beat a fishing vacation to the west coast of Florida
